Asad is a results-oriented seasoned Business Leader with 30 years of diversified work experience in Organization Development, Human Resources, Operations Management, and Information Management in various well-reputed large companies and multinationals in Pakistan and abroad with over 20+ years stationing in Saudi Arabia.
He has worked with several top-notch companies in senior positions, including PWC, Bristol-Myers Squibb Pharmaceuticals, Caltex Oil in Pakistan, Savola Group, Basamh Group (Nestle), Saudi Telecom, and a few others. He served as Chief Operating Officer for three years with an NGO, SINA Health, Education & Welfare Trust, in Karachi. SINA provides Primary Healthcare to underprivileged people in the urban slum areas of Karachi through its network of 35 clinics as well as the Chief Operating Officer of a project with IRD Global.
Asad holds an MBA degree from the prestigious Institute of Business Administration (IBA), Karachi. Certification from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP) for being a Certified Director and is currently on the Boards of two publicly listed companies as an Independent Director. He is a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources Management (SHRM-SCP) from the Society of Human Resources Management, USA. Certified Human Resources Management Professional (HRMP) and Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHRi) from the Human Resources Certification Institute (HRCI), USA.
In addition to the Human Resources domain, Asad is a Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute (PMI), USA.
As an internationally certified senior human resources professional, he has trained more than 300 multinational HR professionals in Saudi Arabia for the exam preparation of SHRM-SCP and CP courses through Morgan International and Tharwah Consulting. He also teaches MBA-level courses in universities like IBA, SZABIST, IoBM, and Iqra as visiting faculty.
